Employee interviewed by middle school student for local hero project

Tennessee American Water Engineering Manager Grady Stout was recently honored to be interviewed by Signal Mountain Middle School 6th grader Carter Romanek for his project on a local hero. Carter chose Grady because of the important work he does providing clean, safe water to our customers.

Carter stated, “The reason I chose Grady Stout to be my local hero is because Grady wants to make a difference.  I also chose him because he understands how important water is.”

When asked if he considers himself a hero, Grady quickly answered “not hardly, but there are lots of heroes working at Tennessee American Water.”
